About Pick AI Apps
A small editorial team writing plain-language guides to AI companion and AI dating apps.
What we do
We install the apps, pay for them where needed, use them for weeks rather than minutes, and write down what we found. Each guide follows the same six questions: what the app does, what it costs, what happens to your data, whether it is honest about being software, how it handles safety, and whether it holds up over time.
What we don't do
- We don't publish scores we can't explain. Every rating comes with the reasons behind it.
- We don't let advertisers change a ranking. If a service pays us and fails our checks, it does not get recommended.
- We don't pretend an AI is a person, and we won't recommend apps that do.
How the site is funded
Pick AI Apps may receive compensation when you sign up for a service through a link on this site. This is how the site is paid for. It does not affect what we write or the order in which services appear, and our advertising disclosure is linked from every page.
